Working with Polymer Clay

I have found a new fun love in my life.
Like I need to add to my crafting ventures.

Anyway, my daughter and I took off to
Hobby Lobby and bought us some
Premo Polymer Clay.
We bought all kinds of different colors
and also so fun shapes to work with.

We conditioned the clay for a bit until
it was ready and easy to work with.

Then, started playing!!

We made all kinds of buttons.

There is not much to this, as long as
you read the instructions on the back of
the package, you've got it made.
But, this being our first time, we learned some
things on the way.  Like be sure to smooth
out every line and  Even out the amount of clay
used when making a circle or square, which
is like being the base of your design.
Because, how it looks before you put it
in the oven is exactly how it will look
when it comes out of the oven.

But hey, we had fun and will be working
up some more clay things soon.

So until next time,

Melissa

Dallas Cowboys

Arlington Texas anyone??

How about a Dallas Cowboy??

That's were my husband, sister,

brother n law and I ran off to this summer.

It was so nice to just get away from

it all, even if I had to deal with some pain

with my back. It was worth it due to

me being tired of the walls closing up on me.

We took a tour of the New Dallas Stadium.

LoVeD IT!!!!!

Of course I love me some Dallas Cowboy football!!

Dallas has been my team since, Forever.

We went through the Pro Shop, Cheerleaders

locker room, the football players locker room,

and road a huge elevator to

different levels of the stadium.

We covered alot of the stadium in

2 hours.

After the tour, we got to go down on the

field and take pictures. Some of the kids

and guys played football.

This big Dr. Pepper thing is on one end of the

football field on one of the many levels of the stadium.

Take a look at this BIG TV.

It's HuGe!!!!

I wanted one of these and walked right out the door

after the tour was over. (Guess I have to go back)

This phone system was cool. It belongs to

Mr. Jerry Jones.

We got to go into his Special Room were

he watches the game. The phone is to call

down to the field and well, I guess

anywhere and anyone he wants to call.

They told us a story about this phone.

When they first built the stadium and started

the tours, they forgot about the phone number

that was listed on the phone, and the people

visiting would write down the number and

then call it during game time telling

Jerry Jones on how to play football.

Can you imagine???

Okay, I just showed you 8 pictures out of

1000, that I took. Alot huh?

But not only did I take pictures of the stadium,

but I had to take pictures of the Designs used

in the stadium too. I also took pictures of

Pictures that were on the wall of past players.

So instead of posting EVERY picture.

I thought I would seperate and show you the

best of the best. I can not wait to show

you the designs of the furniture and Art that

was in this place. It's to cool.

So until next time, have a great week,

Melissa

Farm Life

Happy Weekend!!!

Here in Oklahoma, we have several farms.
My sister and I had been looking for a place
to be able to take our clients so we could
have a farm like place to take photos.

We visited friends of ours and their farm.
And I tell you what, we had a great time
just checking out the place and making
some new friends.
 (farm animal friends,that is..)

This is Mike and his buddy...
That's right it's a Deer.
He is around 7 months old and the
the sweetest little thing.
He will come right up to you and let
you pet him, and pet him and
PeT HiM!!!
He loves the attention...

Mike said that he found him on the side
of the road with out his momma.
So he picked him up and took him home.

How could you not want to take him home?
Just look at that cute little face!

It took me a couple of times to get this picture.
I guess he liked my camera because everytime
I would take his picture up close he would
come straight up close to me.

And while I was taking pictures, I thought
I would take a pic of this Chicken.
Isn't he cute too????

While we were there, we also enjoyed
some entertainment from this little guy..
See that plastic bowl he has in his mouth?
He loves chasing that thing and he hits
it with his nose up into the air and then
catches it in his mouth.
The funniest thing I have ever seen...
(when it comes to puppies..)

Here he is again chasing that plastic bowl.

This farm also had lots of Cows and Horses.
I will have to get pictures of them another time.

Anyway, I just wanted to tell Mike and Doni,
thank you for letting us come and check out
more of your farm and all of your farm animals.
We enjoyed it!!!!
