Happy 4th of July Donny

We had a going away party for

a friend of ours that we consider

to be family.  This guy has been

around our family for many years.

His name is Donny Cartwright.

And his story goes like this.....

When this young man first came into our lives,

He had been one of my brothers friends.

Which then became his bestfriend.

He was around so much, that my

sister and I didn't tell people that we

had just one brother.

My Mom and Dad fell in love

with him as well and took him

in and has treated him as one

of their own.

He now has two beautiful daughters

that have been apart of our lives

as well.  Every Holiday they have

spent with us and we have watch them grow

up to be very well behaved young women.

He is now remarried

and the last time he was in town we

all celebrated with a party for him.

The party was for his birthday, which

was in June, and it was also to

welcome him home. We also

celebrated his marriage and then

to also Send him off once again.

See, He is now in Afghanistan.

He will be there for some time.

I already miss the guy and I know

his new wife and daughters miss

him as well.  He is such a good man.

 It's hard to see that your brother

is over seas but I know why he

does it.  He believes in his country.

We are very blessed to have him

in our lives. I wish him the very best

and pray for him and all his military

brother and sisters for a safe journey.

I also want to thank him for what

he does for me, his family, friends,

his country and for you.

Thank you Donny for believing in

your Country. Thank you for being brave.
