The Finished Results of the Ugly Yellow House

Finally, the Ugly House is DoNe!!!

Can I get a hooray from everyone???

I hope you've been tagging along with us

as we ventured  through our progress

of remolding this Ugly house to a 

Beautiful Home.

Now, on with the picture show.....

 

This is the New Bathroom.

I say New, because we had to replace 

everything in this bathroom.

This area is kinda small, so getting pictures of

the whole bathroom was really difficult.

The blue tape you see on the wall is there because

we had to varnish the side panel of the cabinet.

(It is now gone and looks good)

This picture was taken from the back bedroom

looking out the bedroom door to the entry of

another bedroom. (does that make sense?)

The stove and microwave will be installed 

when we return from vacation. 

But you can see it with your imagination? Right?

Boomer is my sister's baby and he just 

had surgery in this picture. 

So he tagged along with us for the day.

In this picture, you can see the entry way tile that

 runs into the wood flooring  in the  living room.

Well, that's it folks the picture show is over.

I have to say, I am really glad that this 

project is done, but I did enjoy learning

and experiencing the remodeling 

of my childhood home.

That's right. 

I think we did pretty good.

Considering we bought a new

bathtub, bathroom sink, stool, 

wood flooring and carpet.

Kitchen cabinets, trim for the whole house,

crown molding for the kitchen, living room and hall.

Dishwasher, Stove and microwave vent hood.

New plumbing, Paint and SO Much More!!!!

We had a budget and we stuck to it.

 

Well, I am now going to pack because I am

taking off on vacation tomorrow for a whole week.
